The Wind is behind us when it comes to Claudia Williams

Claudia Williams' painting entitled 'Le Vent / The Wind' smashed auction records in our July Welsh Sale. The artist's previous record was £5,500 in our April 2023 Welsh Sale. Coincidentally it seems that both paintings appear to be closely connected!

Le Vent becomes the second highest auction price for a living Welsh female artist. The highest price remains for a Shani Rhys James example that we sold in 2018 for £22,000.
