    20TH CENTURY CHINESE SCHOOL gilt paint and watercolur wash - A Luohan and mythical creatures entitled in Chinese characters `The Virtuous Subduing the Dragon` with apocryphal red collectors seals, mounted as a scroll, framed, 33.5 x 27cms¦Auctioneer`s Note: the subject depicts a Monk subduing a Dragon daemon which has taken on a human body, the top right red seal reads `Supreme` and the left hand side reads `Precious Collection of Xiang Zijing`. Xiang was a famous collector from the late Ming dynasty period but similar seals are often attached to works of art which have never been in his collection.
