Coronavirus update: actions on COVID-19

I was the successful bidder at The Welsh Sale or a recent auction, how can I pay?

Please pay by bank transfer as per our invoice. If you do not use internet banking then we can accept a cheque addressed to Rogers Jones & Co but please send to Ben Rogers Jones, 66 South Road, Sully, CF64 5SL

I have paid my bill from The Welsh Sale (or another auction). How do I collect my items?

The saleroom building is closed but we are happy to retain items, without any cost of course, until normalisation. Alternatively, collection can be arranged with the courier company, Mailboxes Cardiff but so that we are not making several visits to the saleroom, this collection will happen ON TWO occasions only from the recent auctions. If this is preferred, then please call Mailboxes on 02921 322157 urgently. Mailboxes will register your request and we will check that items have been paid for so that goods can be released.

Are your salerooms open?

We are following government guidelines and will only open again when it has been declared safe to do so

I require carriage between your two salerooms – is this still going to happen?

Yes, as soon as we can, we ask for your patience

I was a vendor at an auction. Will I still be paid my balance on time?

Yes, assuming that the items you were selling are paid for, then we do not anticipate seeing a delay in paying vendors

I am a vendor but my items haven't been sold yet. What is happening?

Your objects are safely stored at the auction house(s) we ask that you are patient and wait until our schedule is up and running once again.

Are you still working?

Each of our valuers / appraisers are working from home and can be contacted by email. We are providing free no obligation valuations by email and welcome your enquiries. Please send clear images and provide a phone number to call you. We are also coducting urgent time-sensitive appointments such as Probate valuations and we are still organising clearances of property to the saleroom where house sales have completed. In both these instances we are observing social distancing and staff / removers will if possible be wearing protective clothing. Prior to dropping items off at our town-centre Colwyn Bay auction house the police have been informed of the situation.
